The purpose of Task I was to initiate the comprehensive Biosciences District Plan for GNOBEDD and to understand the framework within which the planning process will be prepared. Four elements comprised this first task: (1) a series of kick-off meetings; (2) extensive stakeholder interviews; (3) the establishment of a public participation program; and (4) an understanding of the media coverage to date on GNOBEDD and the Biosciences District.
